Hargeisa 09 August, 2022 (MOFD)-The Somaliland Ministry of Finance Development has held today a two-day validation workshop about Somaliland Tax-System and Administration which will be included the country’s Universities Curriculum in order to familiarize the students with their country’s taxation system.
This meeting which was attended by various stakeholder for this topic, including the administration of the universities and the senior officials of the Ministry of Education and Science appreciated the Ministry of Finance its efforts of localizing and contextualizing the country’s tax system and Administration, they also presented their contributions on the improvements of the Manual. This Manual-Book on the tax-system is expected to increase the understandings of the future taxpayers, especially students graduating from the country’s universities.
