On the 4th of December, 2021 the Somaliland National Tax Tribunal Committe held a forum inviting relevant key stakeholders, such as the foremost tax revenue collection departments of the ministry of finance devolopment, law enforcement, and the attorney-generals office.
Amongst the keynote speakers were the director-general of the ministry of finance devolopment, Mohamed Gurhan, the chairman of the national tax tribunal committee legal attorney, Yusuf Bixi and the Marodi Jeh region deputy attorney-general, Mowlid Muse.
The primary objective(s) of this important discussion forum were to strengthen related intergovernmental coordination, experience sharing, and dispense legal awareness in a bid to better inform future tax revenue collection practices, policy and directives.
