A delegation from the Republic of Somaliland was led by the Minister of the Ministry of Interior Mr. Mohamed Kahin Ahmed, were among the members of the Somaliland delegation Minister of the Ministry of Finance Development Dr. Saad Ali Shire, Minister of Water Development Mr. Saleban Yusuf Ali Koore, Deputy Minister of Transport and Road Development Mr. Muse Ibrahim Yusuf (Self), Governor of Gebilay Region Mr. Abdikarim Aden Haji Diriye, Gebilay Mayor and Tog-Wajale Administration, were participated a launching ceremony on underground water development project implemented in Tog-Wajale Border Town.
This meeting which took place at the commercial city of Wajale were attended by the President of the Somali Regional State of Ethiopia HE. Mustafa Muhammad Omar, the Minister of Water of the Federal Government of Ethiopia Eng. Habtamu, the Minister of Water of the Government of Uganda Mr. Sam Champtories, the Minister of Water of the Government of South Sudan Mr. Pal Mai Deng, the Minister of Water of the Government of Djibouti Mr. Said Khayre, and were also attended by other international organizations such as UNDP, UNICEF, UNESCO and the World Bank.
The delegation of the Republic of Somaliland held separate meetings with the delegation from the IGAD Regional Organization, especially the Minister of Water of the Federal Government of Ethiopia, while the two sides discussed the cooperation between the two governments. The delegation of Somaliland also met with the President of the Somali Regional Government of Ethiopia HE. Mustafa Muhamed Omar and the two sides were discussed strengthening the security of the two countries and others issues like the trade goods crossing between the two countries.
