To ensure a fully integrated, secure and robust financial management information system that facilitates policy-based budget formulation, execution and timely reporting across the Government of Somaliland.
To create an environment in which the Government of Somaliland can utilize IT systems in planning, budgeting, managing, accounting and reporting of public finances within all Line Ministries, Donor Funded Projects (DFPs) and Regions.
Our key goals and strategic objectives
To implement a modern up-to-date and integrated financial system that facilitates efficient transaction processing, reporting and oversight
To provide a platform for budgeting and strengthening accountability in the public sector, and integration of all PFM stakeholder information needs in treasury, revenue, expenditure, debt, aid and asset management
To provide a foundation for use of applications and technology for PFM across government.
To provide a framework for capacity building and knowledge management of the IFMIS for core staff and end users across government.
To provide a framework for continuous support and maintenance of applications and technologies deployed for IFMIS usage.
To ensure sustainability of the IFMIS on an on-going basis.
